A tighter boundary around generated documents.

  • ImprovedDocuments can no longer reach the network. A document the AI generates already could not call out to a server. It now cannot reach one indirectly either, through a script, stylesheet or font hosted elsewhere, so nothing it displays can leave your machine that way. Everything a document needs is bundled with the app.
  • FixAccess ends when someone leaves a team. Removing a person from a team, or deleting the team, now withdraws their access to the documents that were shared with them through it. Links you shared with people outside your team are unaffected. This was fixed on the server, so it applied to every account immediately.

OkComputer 1.0.

The workspace is now a system rather than a set of parts. It holds what your company knows and answers from it, the documents it produces are edited by pointing at them and saying what should change, and the people who own the numbers can be in the same document with you while you do it.

  • NewCompany Brain. The definitions, policies and procedures your team writes down once, in a knowledge base the whole workspace answers from. Agents consult it while they work and every answer shows the entry it used and who agreed it, so nobody explains the same thing a second time.
  • NewCo-editing. Share a cloud document with a teammate as a reader or an editor and work in it together, live, with each person's cursor visible and every edit attributed.
  • NewVersion history. Documents keep their own history. Versions are cut automatically as people work and can be named on purpose, each one recording who contributed to it.
  • NewShared conversations. Share a chat and it simply appears in the other person's Sessions tab with its history intact. There is no invitation to accept.
  • NewTeams. Create a team, invite people by email or a reusable link, set roles, transfer ownership and hold a shared balance the whole team draws on.
  • NewThe assistant. A dock alongside your work that knows the product and can act on the workspace itself, building documents and setting up scheduled work for you.
  • ImprovedEditing in the Library. Put the cursor on the section that is wrong and describe the change in plain language. That section changes and the rest of the document is left alone.
  • ImprovedDeep Dive. Verification now runs as a fixed chain of different model families over the same material, one researching, another checking every claim against the source, and a third ruling on what survives. It catches substantially more planted errors than a single model reviewing the same document.
  • ImprovedReliability. A wide pass over streaming, long agent runs, credit accounting and the connected-app flows, plus a security review of everything that can be uploaded to the cloud.

Automations, app connections, and work that runs in the cloud.

OkComputer can now do work for you on a schedule - even while the app is closed - act on the apps you connect, and top up credits as you go.

  • NewAutomations. Set the assistant to run an instruction against your documents on a schedule. Runs happen in the cloud and your documents are encrypted at rest, so a job can finish while OkComputer is closed and sync the results back.
  • NewApp connections. Connect apps like Gmail so the assistant can read and act on them for you - only for the tasks you ask it to, and you can disconnect any app at any time.
  • NewCloud agents. Longer tasks now run on our servers instead of your machine, so they keep going after you close the app and pick up where they left off.
  • NewPay-as-you-go credits. Buy a one-time credit pack, or turn on auto-reload to top up automatically when you run low. Credits never expire, and auto-reload is always opt-in with a receipt for every charge.
  • ImprovedBilling and security hardening. A broad pass over the billing, automation, and connection systems for safer, more predictable usage.

Linked chats, Deep Dive, and a more solid foundation.

This release adds new ways to put your conversations to work together, brings the Open Knowledge Format to the whole app, and lands a broad wave of stability and bug fixes.

  • NewLinked chats. Wire two conversations together so either one can consult the other's full history as an on-demand expert - without merging them into one thread.
  • NewDeep Dive (High mode). A multi-agent document review that splits your material into sections, examines each one in depth, and runs an adversarial check before reporting back.
  • NewOpen Knowledge Format, app-wide. OKF support now spans the entire app, giving the assistant a consistent, portable way to read and reuse your knowledge.
  • ImprovedMore file formats in the Library. The Library tab now imports and handles a wider range of document formats.
  • FixLibrary stability. Fixed several issues that could make the Library tab unstable.
  • FixTerminal fixes. Resolved bugs in the built-in terminal and connected engines.
  • FixGeneral stability. Numerous reliability improvements and crash fixes across the app.
